About me
I’m Nawel Izard—a lawyer, a mother, community volunteer, and someone who believes that the small details often hold the biggest truths.
I started in private practice in 2015 as a summer student, then stepped away to focus on family and real life—the kind of life that teaches you things no classroom or courtroom ever could. When I came back to law, I did so with a different lens. One shaped by parenting, by lived experience, and by listening more than speaking.
My practice is built on that same principle: that law is not just about rules, but about people—people trying to solve problems, protect what matters, or find a way forward. I work with families, small business owners, and individuals in transition, offering guidance in family law, tax planning, business matters, and estate planning. I also support clients working in farming, fisheries, and commercial real estate—fields where risk isn’t hypothetical, and legacy is often written in land, time, and trust.
This work is personal to me. Not because I have all the answers, but because I’ve lived enough to ask the right questions. My job is to help you slow down, make smart decisions, and feel seen in a system that often makes people feel small.
When I’m not working, I’m raising my son, volunteering locally, and backing the kind of small businesses that hold a community together.
